I was 16 and my brother was 13. I had been a fan since 1988, but this was to be my first concert. I was too late for Seventh Tour Of A Seventh Tour, but had the chance in 1990. But for mysterious reasons I was not in Drammenshallen that year.

This was the first time Maiden was playing the new concert venue, Oslo Spectrum. We were exited and not very experienced concertwise, due to age and bad music taste pre-88.
Testament warmed up and the crowd were fired up for some great music.

Maiden came on and started with new no 2 single be Quick Or Be Dead. I can`t really remember this concert very well. All I can remember was that it was great and sweaty. We were wet through and it was a long drive back home. Bruce Dickinson parted company with the band shortly after this ( a huge blow to a new fan) and it was to be 7 long years before my next Maiden experience. Read on here
